* Wednesday, August 4th – Smart Women Network / East Bay, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM @ The Bellevue Club, Lake Merritt, Oakland. Optional dinner follows. Featured guests: Dr. Kathleen McGuire, conductor & manager, Community Women’s Orchestra. Special: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM – Mini Workshop on Steel Drum Music with Mary Spalding, Steel Jam. Details to come. * Thursday, August 5th – “The Original Ladies Night” @ Lime - Come out on Thursdays to hang out, meet new contacts, enjoy the camaraderie, cocktails and tasty tapas. This event, which began originally in 2002, is an important weekly gathering for women of all ages. Come early to enjoy conversation and an easy dinner (doors open at 5:00 PM) and/or stay late. DJ presented by Olivia Travel, begins at 8:00 PM and continues late. (Repeats weekly on Thursdays)

* Wednesday, August 11th – “Wine Time!” Women In Wine Series @ 2223 Restaurant, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, 2223 Market Street, SF – Featured guest (details to come) pouring wines from their fine selection paired with hors d’oeuvres by Chef Melinda Randolph of 2223 Restaurant.
