* About the Betty's List Literary Salon & Book Club -
It's more than a book club, really . . . Professor Cynthia Lee Katona, co-founder, called the Betty's List Book Club a "League" with multiple small reading groups. You do not have to be a member of a reading group, however, to come to our monthly Book & Author event.

The format of the Book Club's gatherings will vary from time to time, including discussion sessions, readings and book talks by authors and special guests. Open mic events are also planned. Leading the group's sessions will be Cynthia Katona, who is an author and book lover herself.

The sister café to the well-known Dolores Park Café, Duboce Park Café opened in October and has received rave reviews from neighborhood patrons and visitors alike.
