In Memory of Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks was arrested on December 1st, 1955 in Montgomery,
Alabama for refusing to give up her seat on a public bus to a white
passenger. She is known as the "Mother of the Civil Rights Movement" in
the United States. President Bill Clinton awarded her the Presidential
Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor bestowed by the US
government.
