Betty's List Feature

The Betty's List Book Club rocks! Okay, even the literary-minded among us must have some sense of humor . . .  In fact, they may have the most highly evolved of humor senses among us. Professor Cynthia Katona led a second well-attended meeting of our Book Club on Wednesday evening, February 21st at Duboce Park Cafe. Host Rachel Herbert welcomed us and as usual, the food was splendid.

Cynthia has worked with the club to create several reading groups, and each reading group has its first selection underway. The details on how our Book Club works are explained in the Book Club Blog, so just hit the link and have a read. Please do post your comments and questions to Cynthia there.

Our next Book Club monthly meeting at Duboce Park Cafe will be on Wednesday, March 21st (the third Wednesday each month) and we'll have a special guest speaker to be announced soon. Below are some candid and informal snapshots from the 2nd meeting.

Special thanks to Karen Martner of our Book Club who spent hours after the meeting at the Betty's List command center getting our computer system back online!
