from Los Angeles, filmmaker and writer Hilary Goldberg. Her most recent film "in the Spotlight" is traveling the film festival circuit. The film stars Guinevere Turner, Michelle Tea and Clint Catalyst in a noir faery tale about a literary hoax. Her film "Beyond Lovely" featuring Guinevere Turner and Vaginal Davis has appeared at over sixteen international film festivals, as welll as aired on MTV's Logo Network and is distributed by Power Up Films. Hilary collaborated with Ani DiFranco on the documentary feature film "Render: Spanning Time with Ani DiFranco", which has wide distribution and is available at major record store retail outlets as well as independent record stores, and online. "Giraffe Medicine" her poetry collection is available from CD Baby and Itunes. She tours nationally as a Spoken Word artist performing at large festivals, bars and colleges. "Giraffe Medicine Book" has recently been released, containing ten poems from the "Giraffe Medicine" CD and six new works entitled "Walking Darkness Home". Hilary is currently developing "The Land", a trilogy, for Power Up, and recently shot a music video for Katastrophe.

Savannah Knoop began to lead a double life in 1999 at the age of eighteen, when her sister in law asked her to be the face of JT Leroy, author of Sarah and The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things. Her true identity was revealed in 2006. She began making clothing six years ago, and formed a clothing line under the name Tinc. She lives in San Francisco.
from Fresno, Bana Witt, author of the poetry collections Compass in an Armored Car, Eight for Artie, and Eclipse of Reason, as well as the collection of autobiographical short stories, Mobius Stripper. She starred in porn shorts made by the infamous Mitchell brothers, was a regular in the Cafe Barbar poetry scene of the 1990s, was the 1995 Poetry Slam Champion of San Francisco, and has collaborated with musicians Dhyani Dharma Mas and East Bay Ray. Bana has been published in Sequoia, the Stanford Literary Review, The Outlaw Bible of American Poetry, and The Mammoth Book of International Erotica. She is recently completed a collection of autobiographical horror stories titled Bodegahead.

Betty's List Radar Reading Series Columnist Michelle Tea.
Michelle Tea serves as host and moderator of the popular “Radar Reading” series of the San Francisco Public Library's Hormel GLBT Center.
It's been said that Michelle Tea has taken “the writing world by storm.” Her second book, entitled “Valencia,” launched her into the literary scene not only in the Bay Area but nationally.
She is beloved for her writing and for live performances and arts organizing, such as the founding of a spoken-word troupe “Sister Spit.”
During its two-year span, Sister Spit became famous as an all-girl open mic event, earning the “Best in the Bay” nod from the San Francisco Bay Guardian. The group traveled and performed in many towns throughout the US and in the Bay Area, was responsible for visits by literary luminaries.
Tea has written four memoirs, including The Chelsea Whistle, Valencia and Rent Girl.
As an ex-prostitute, she has toured with the Sex Worker's Art Show, and she is a contributor to numerous publications.
Hailing originally from Chelsea, MA (a suburb of Boston),, Tea anow makes her home in San Francisco.
